Does the colour red has a special meaning?

Professor Christine Mohr was recently invited by the Galaxus journal to give an interview on the symbolic meaning of the colour red.

In the article, she talks about how red is the colour of strong emotions, such as love, anger, and frenzy. It is also the only colour for which a physiological reaction has so far been demonstrated, and therefore the only colour whose influence on our bodies has been proven.
