Congratulations! Nora Ecouer defends her thesis.

At the end of January 2024, Nora Ecouer has successfully defended her Master thesis titled Emotional Intensity and Colours:Variations of colour lightness and saturation associated to expressive faces, done under the supervision of Christine Mohr and Déborah Epicoco. Congratulations!

In her research, she was interested in seeing if people would associate colours to emotional facial expressions, similarly to when they associate colours to emotion terms. She found that indeed, these similarities exist.

She also found that, depending on how intense the facial emotion expression is, the more the lightness and chroma of attributed colours would diverge.
