Dr Domicele Jonauskaite interview for the Uniscope campus magazine

Dr Domicele Jonauskaite had the pleasure to give an interview for the the Uniscope campus magazine of the University of Lausanne, called “Does our favorite color reveal our personality?”.

She discussed myths and facts about colour psychology. She talked about how, as experimental colour psychologists, we are sceptical about the widely held perceived impact colours might have on our daily lives. She explained that, although we tend to associate certain colors with specific emotions (such as red and anger), this does not imply that we actually feel such colours. Not only do favourite colours vary wildly from person to person, but they are in no way dependent on the personality of individuals.
