12'000 answers in the International Colour-Emotion Association Survey

The Lausanne colour team is happy to share that we achieve more than 12’000 answers in the International Colour-Emotion Association Survey with colour terms. The map on the left represents every country that answered: we count more than 80 countries and 46 different languages.

We wish to warmly thank our many collaborators for their continuous help and involvement in collecting and treating the data. Without their help, we wouldn’t be able to achieve such high-quality science, and try to answer the main questions around the universality of colour-emotions associations!
