SNSF Ambizione Grant secured by Dr. Domicele Jonauskaite!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Domicele Jonauskaite received a prestigious Ambizione fellowship grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). This career grant will allow her to establish herself as an independent researcher while pursuing a new research avenue on colours and emotions.

From October 2024, Domicele will lead a four-year research project studying whether immersion in colour impacts our emotions. Anastazja Adamczyk will join as a PhD student working on this project. Together, they will use modern technologies - virtual reality (VR), ambient light rooms, psychophysiological recordings,- to create colour immersion in different settings and accurately assess human emotional responses.

The project will be hosted at the Institute of Psychology, University of Lausanne, Switzerland. It will be carried out in collaboration with researchers from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), University of Bern, and the Munsell Color Science Laboratory at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
