Master thesis defense by Lucile van Riel. Congratulations!

Lucile van Riel defended her Master thesis titled: Expressions affectives de la peur et de la joie : Synesthésie et localisation corporelle des émotions chez les enfants.
(Affective expressions of fear and joy: Synesthesia and bodily localization of emotions in children.)

She has been working under the supervision of Prof. Christine Mohr and Déborah Epicoco, with Dr Domicele Jonauskaite acting as an expert of her thesis, investigating colour-emotion correspondences in children (age 8-10). Lucile was looking at the localisation and attributed colours of induced emotions in the body, contributing to the research on other modalities of emotional expression in this young public.

Lucile did a marvellous job, being a highly engaged and motivated student, showing excellent skills, for which she received the highest grade and was nominated for a faculty prize.

Congratulations, Lucile!

We are happy we had you working with us and we wish you lots of luck in the future! 🍀
