Swiss National Science Foundation funds colour research

Domicele Jonauskaite obtained a competitive Doc.CH scholarship in July 2017. She will investigate the semantic and perceptual links between colour and emotion at the University of Lausanne together with Prof. Christine Mohr. One highlight of her study is to compare how these associations differ in colour blind people and Shona speakers in Zimbabwe. These groups are interesting because they see colours differently (colour blind people) or use only three colour words (Shona speakers).
