Prof Christine Mohr as keynote speaker at Speaking and Writing about Colours in Milan
Prof Christine Mohr was invited to give a talk at the inter-disciplinary conference Speaking and Writing about Colours at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, Italy. Her talk entitled “Perceptual and semantic contributions to colour-emotion associations” covered challenges faced by cognitive colour psychologists when research the link between colour and affect. In particular, she focused on trying to understand whether colour-affect associations are driven by semantic or perceptual mechanisms. While mainly attended by the linguistic community, the talk was well received and generated further discussions.
