Mari Uusküla, Associate Professor of Linguistics and Translation, visited the University of Lausanne

The colour team of Lausanne had an opportunity to welcome Mari Uusküla, from Tallinn University, where she is an Associate Professor of Linguistics and Translation. Mari research interests include linguistics, lexical semantics, semantic typology, colour naming, colour categorisation and perception, field linguistics, and psycholinguistics. She came as a visiting researcher for two weeks and she worked closely with Prof. Christine Mohr, Domicele Jonauskaite, and Déborah Da Silva on the affective meaning of colour purple.
