Our new article published in Royal Society Open Science was covered by Science Magazine
The most recent article from our lab entitled “A machine learning approach to quantify the specificity of colour-emotion associations and their cultural differences” came out last week in the Royal Society Open Science. In this article, we presented the first cross-cultural comparison between four countries from our larger on-going International Colour Emotion Survey. Our results demonstrated that the machine learning algorithm can reliably predict participant’s country based on their colour-emotion associations. Although above the chance level, the prediction rate was not very high, indicating certain universality in colour-emotion associations.
Science Magazine described the results from this study here. Our article was also mentioned in other popular articles here and here.
